Summer Arts and Learning Academy Artist Educator, Summers 2018, 2019,
and 2020 (6 week program).
Designed arts-integrated units for art classes in 1st-5th grades, collaborating with
classroom teachers in reading and math to do so. Planned an executed displays
of student art work. Organized art materials for responsible usage.
Art Educator, Brehms Lane Public Charter School, Baltimore City Public
Schools, Baltimore, MD 2018-2020
Designed units for art classes in PK-5th grades, while integrating themes from
the Reach for Reading program. Directed prop and backdrop design for
schoolwide performances, monitored children during school wide performances.
Modified lessons for students with diverse learning disabilities. Organized art
materials for display, and managed an art room that served 400 students per
year.

Designed units for Art Fundamentals, Photography, Video Production, Yearbook,
and collaborative courses while integrating an annual school Theme. Directed
prop design and tech cues for schoolwide performances. Assisted students in
completing environmental action projects. Assisted outdoor educator with swim
program, Karen Noonan Center field trip, and designing materials and lessons to
raise environmental awareness. Integrated visual art with music, theater, dance,

Engaged the community in upcycling plastic bottles for an annual community parade, designed outdoor space to suit the needs of 500+ people making lanterns in 3 hrs.

Immersed students in the world of fiber arts through units on weaving, quilting, dyeing, and soft sculpture, structured half-day long lessons, imported raw materials and hands-on experience for students to learn from directly.

Volunteer experience
Baltimore City Master gardener — 2018-present
Helped maintain garden spaces around city, supervised and assisted volunteers
in weed identification, mulch spreading, trash pickup, tool distribution, and plant
maintenance. Drove judges for the Charm City Farm and Garden tour. Engaged
public at “Ask a Master Gardener” tents around the city, answering questions
about pest management, plant diseases, plant identification, and how to grow
various types of gardens.
Baltimore Reclaiming — 2016-present. Organize community meetings and
events, use a consensus model to make community decisions, plan and implement rituals that follow themes and stories using art/poetry/meditation/music as media.
Swim Across America — 2014-2015.
Helped raise money with Millie’s Mermaids and participated in a mile long swim
in solidarity with cancer researchers.
